Technology-Enabled Collaborative Care for Youth (TECC-Y)

​About TECC-Y:

  • The Technology-Enabled Collaborative Care for Youth (TECC-Y) is a 3-month feasibility study for youth with early psychosis to promote healthy behaviour change (i.e., improve their nutrition, physical activity and/or smoking habits) through the use of an e-platform. Participants will be randomized to Group 1 to receive access to the platform/webinars (self-directed care) or to Group 2 to receive access to the platform/webinars and additional support received from a Care Coordinator who will receive recommendations from a multi-disciplinary virtual care team of health care professionals and a peer mentor.​​​

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Between the age of 16-29
  • Have a clinician diagnosis of early psychosis within the last 5 years
  • On psychiatric medication, stable for 4-weeks
  • Access to telephone or internet through computer or mobile
  • Able to provide consent
  • Able to understand English​
