The goal of this toolkit is to increase awareness of type 2 diabetes risk factors through training of lay health educators. As part of the development process, all materials were reviewed by a dietitian and a family physician at the Sunnybrook Diabetes Education Centre, and by Peel and Toronto Public Health Units.
